Just Peachy

Where are all my makeup obsessed beauties at!? I wanted to share with you all, a couple of my favorite products at the moment!

This winter break I received and bought a lot of new products, more than I probably should have. Haha. You all know my pain, don’t you? I have zero self-control when I walk into Sephora, Ulta, or let’s be honest,  any place that has makeup.

The three newest products that I have been using are Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette, Too Faced Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo, and Tarte Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint. Oh, Let’s not forget Maybelline FIT ME! Matte + Poreless Foundation. I am forever faithful to this foundation!! One, it cost about $6.00 at your local drug store and two, it has amazing coverage for my skin. Also, who doesn’t love a matte finish? I know I do!  With those three and my other go-to products, I created a warm peachy look with a sweet rosy lip!

I have nothing but LOVE for the Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette. It has 18 shades and of those, 4 are matte. Not to mention, it smells like peaches! So Yummmm! Most days, I use matte eye shadows because I don’t like to have a lot of shimmer or glow on my eyes during the day for work and school (that is if I wear makeup to those places). Haha. I will say that this palette allowed me to take a few steps out of my comfort zone and try some of the shimmer and bronze shades while also using the matte shades, for a day look. This look is seriously nothing drastic, but I just LOVE the combination and had to share with you all!

To create this eye look I used the shades Peaches’N Cream, Puree, Summer Yum, Bellini, and Luscious. I applied MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Soft Ochre to my entire eyelid from the lash line to the brow bone. In my opinion, the paint pot allows for your eyeshadow to last all day, allows for easy blending of eyeshadows, and mixing of colors. I then applied Peaches ‘N Cream to the whole eye from the lash line to the start of my brow (since it is the lightest shade). Next, I applied Puree and Summer Yum to the crease and made sure that those two were superrrr blended to give that bronze/burnt orange look. After, I applied the MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot to my eyelid, stopping at the crease to create a light base for Bellini and Luscious.  I did this so that those two shades would appear on my eye to their highest color potential. And WAHHHLAAHHHH! There is my warm peachy eye look!

Oh, Let’s not forget that Tarte Tarteist Creamy Matte Lips Paint in “tbt”. To be honest, this is my very first Tarte Lipstick.  My younger cousin actually had this shade when I recently visited her. I tried it on and I was IN LOVE! I literally went that day and bought it for myself. Haha. I love the feel of “tbt” on my lips. Unlike other matte lip paints, this one didn’t chap or make my lips dry. This lip paint is also super pigmented and has a very fluffy feel to it when worn (amazinggg). Oh, it smells like peppermint too! Who would have thought!? Overall, I give “tbt” a 10 out 10.

Before I go, Let me just tell you that the Too Faced Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo in Rosy Glow is a must-have, in my opinion! Although, if I knew that it came in a Warm Glow shade, I would have definitely gone with that one for my skin tone. I just got it a few days ago and I am still learning how to use it correctly. Let me just tell you, I stay GLOWING… Haha.
