Hey there, Beauties! I comin’ at ya today with a few of my favorite makeup products from the month of January! Most of these products have become a few of my everyday go-to’s. So let’s take a peek at what I have been lovinnnnnnnn’ this month! Haha.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette
Let me just say, this palette is eyeshadow GOLDDDD! If the colors don’t win you over then the buttery feel and pigment of each shadow should! TBH, it took me so long to give into buying this palette. I am not sure why, but I am really glad I did! The colors that I tend to use on a daily basis are “Tempera”, “Raw Sienna”, “Burnt Orange”, and “Primavera” (for a little glitter). These colors allow for a warm daily look. When I am feeling a little daring, I will play around with the more pinkish red colors. Haha. The shadow “Love Letter” is just so fun when you want an extra pop of color within your makeup look.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
First of all, I am forever loyal to Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. One, because of the price point. It is super affordable!!! Two, it is simply amazing!! (I will def be ranting more about Maybelline Lash Sensational in a later blog post, I PROMISE) I am getting side tracked though… LMAO! So back to this Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara… This mascara is phenomenal! I wanted to venture out of my usual drug store mascara and try something new. I was very hesitant on buying this mascara at first because of its price point ($23.00). Booo!! I am all in on spending money on products for my eyes, lips, face, and brows, but for mascara… not so much because it is something I use every single day. Paying $23.00 each time I need a new tube… does not sit well with my college budget. Haha. ALTHOUGH, I did give in this one time! And I probably will again, when I run out. Haha. This mascara definitely beat alllllll my expectations. The applicator and product in itself allow for even coverage on the eyelashes, creating amazing volume, and allowing them to look super defined. YESS! Haha. This isn’t an everyday mascara for me but, it is a product I love to have for special occasions and nights out!
I am a lover of all things Maybelline!!! This is a super affordable matte lipstick and has great coverage! I bought this lipstick in the shade “Nude Flush” and “Corrupt Cranberry”. What I love most about this lip is that it is super velvety when applied. I hate matte lipsticks that dry out my lips (OUCHHH). It is safe to say, this one passed the dry out test. Haha. Not to mention, this lipstick is super pigmented. I was surprisedddddd since it only cost me about $7.99 at my local drug store. Let’s be real… Maybelline just has great formulas for alllll their products. Feel my love for them, yet!? Haha.
Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Matte Bronzer
Hoola Matte Bronzer is my go-to product for alllll my contouring needs! It works wonders on my face, yall! Again, I have commitment issues when it comes to certain products. Haha. Before purchasing the large Hoola Matte Bronzer, I bought the travel size to see if it was going to be a product that I loved or disliked. Well, the results are in…. I LOVE THIS BRONZER!!!! LOL. I am telling you, it really makes my contour so PERFECT (well in my opinion) Haha. The brush that it comes with, only makes it that much better. For my skin tone, this bronzer was the perfect shade. Not too dark and not too light. This is definitely a product that I cannot live without in my makeup bag!
