Smashbox: Favorite Eyeshadow Combo

Happy Monday & Memorial Day, Beauties! I just thought I’d stop by real quick and share with you all my favorite eyeshadow combo at the moment!

This month, I find myself using my Smashbox Cover Shot Eye Palette in Golden Hour more often than not! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the warm tones that this palette has. The matte and metallic shadows are perfect for any summer look. I am not much of a shimmer type of gal BUT, this palette has allowed me to venture outside of my comfort zone and explore all it’s metallic and shimmer goodness!

At first, I was a little discouraged with this palette because I could not get the shadows to be very pigmented on my eyes, much less last a whole day.  Normally I used the MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre to prime my eyelids, but that was not doing the trick for these shadows.  Nevertheless, I found Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Eye Shadow Primer to work best! This primer allows for the eyeshadow combo that I LOVE, to last allllll day long. And I mean, ALLL DAY LONG! Haha.

One more thing I love about the Smashbox Cover Shot Eye Palette in Golden Hour is that it is travel size! You can create a day or night look with just one palette and not have to pack several while traveling! haha.

Below is the order of how I applied this eyeshadow look:

Whole Eye Base – Dope

Whole Lid – Lights

First Crease Color – Psyched

Second Crease Color – Rock Star

Lid Below Crease – Lights and Turned On

Other products used:

Lips – A mix of MAC Cosmo and Craving

Mascara – Too Faced Better Than Sex

Foundation – Maybelline Fit MeMatte + Poreless in Warm Honey

Eyebrows – Anastasia Dip Brow in Chocolate

Side note, with the crease colors, I like to use my Mary Kay Crease brush! Also, I start off with small amounts until I reached the desired intensity that I want for this look.

If you loves have any thoughts, comments, or questions… just leave a comment down below! ❤

XoXo,

Annalisa Moreno
